When do debts come off Credit file

Hi ! This is my first post ...so be gentle with me !
I have a very poor credit file .There is a debt of £5889 which defaulted on 12 /9 /2012 .This debt has now gone to a CCJ in 2014 .When will it come off my credit file ? Is it 6 years from the default or 6 years from CCJ ? ( it is the same debt)
Hoist have removed the the defaulted account from my credit file ....does that mean the court will also ?
