One way flights? any ideas?

I have been doing a lot of web searching, but am having difficulty finding any deals on a one way flight back from Amsterdam. Seems the only tickets available are several times the price of a return journey from the UK! None of the usual no-frills carriers fly to airports near me, so resorting to KLM or similar - or indeed any airline. Any ideas on how to get a reasonable one way flight? Ideally less than the cost of a return!

Any advice gratefully received.

Where exactly are you? Amsterdam is one of the more popular low-frills flight destinations so i'd be amazed if one of them didn't fly to a local airport.

Yeah where abouts are you? Between EasyJet, FlyBE and BMIBaby they've got pretty much all of UK covered!

HI, thanks for the swift replies - have been away from the comp for a while. I'm in NE. None of the companies flies directly to teesside or Newcastle. Only one is BMI who offer change through Heathrow which just seems ridiculous. Ferry takes too long.

Hoping to find out a way of getting KLM or similar to offer a decent price on one way flights. wonder if any experince of this out there?

Book a return Amsterdam-Newcastle-Amsterdam and just don't use the return...
