Faster payment to m&s

Hi,
I took out some foreign currency yesterday on and m&s MasterCard (yes I know I can use ATMs at the airport but because I’m remote I wanted some cash this time).
I’ve tried to make a faster payment yesterday and today but it’s bouncing back within a few minutes.
Is this because it’s not showing on my account yet and only pending and m&s won’t let me go into credit?
I normally use halifax clarity for foreign spending and I don’t have this issue with them.

It could be that, but are you sure you have the right account details? Have you successfully made a faster payment to that account before?0

You've no need to worry about cash interest if you bought the currency from ourselves, as it's treated as a retail transaction.
Faster payments are rejected if it will put an account into credit, so you'll need to wait until the transaction shows before your payment will be accepted.

sort code and account details were provided by my bank.
I've checked the card number at least 10 times.
No I've not done it before but I think the more likely explanation is that they won't let me go into credit (which halifax clarity do IME).0
