New to Benefits - Why does UC show one amount but then pay almost half only in to bank?

I have worked for over 20 years since leaving school, this is only my 2nd universal credit payment. It says £500 in the payments section, then only pay half of that into bank.

I am totally at a loss, there is no note of non payment or anything on my account.

Has anyone had this happen to them?

Pls help???

Did you request payment twice per assessment period, rather than just one payment ?

If so, the statement confirms the total amount for the assessment period. You get first half 7 days after end of assessment period and the other half 14 days later.
The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.

Another possibility is that the 'missing' amount is being paid direct to Cazza's landlord.
