Pcn from aldi parking eye

Hi everyone

i have received a pcn from parking eye by overstay 27 minute at aldi new oscott and i have no intention to pay.

I have spoke to the manager, and it seems that he prefer to side with parking eye.

Pcn issued after nearly a month, i don't have the receipt and it was paid by cash!! My car was broken down that why i overstayed and i didnt notice the sign either.

Any advice is much appreciated, i'm going to appeal to parking eye first then popla. Please advise what ground should i appeal to this charge? Should i include that my car was broken down in appeal to parking eye and popla ?

Pcn issued after nearly a month,
    So it's a Golden ticket then... :D A winner!

...and you know what that looks like, there is a picture on the third post of the NEWBIES thread.

Go and look at the example in the 3rd post of the NEWBIES thread and see why this means a registered keeper WINS the appeal, as long as they don't write in their own words and admit who parked...
Should i include that my car was broken down in appeal to parking eye and popla
Only if the keeper appeals saying that, without saying who the driver was.

Golden Ticket!! As long as you are NOT looking at the PCN 'Reminder' (similar letter).

As long as the letter is not a Reminder (second letter) you cannot lose! :D

Read the NEWBIES thread post #3 about them and you will win as long as the driver is never implied or identified. It is that simple.

Thank you all for the advices, Im surprised that aldi admin staff has responded to my email. subsequently they have helped me cancelled PCN!! I guess everything will be easier when you have receipt but when you don't have one, you should still try to complain.

Great result. I've just helped an elderly motorist get rid of this crap (off forum) very simply with a complaint to Aldi parking department (HO) alongside receipts for the day. Where they share a car park with Home Bargains, both receipts can be added together to achieve the 'magical' £30+ expenditure.

A hidden term within the Aldi/PE contract which can probably only really be tested at court, but since Aldi seem not to allow to PE to sue their customers in court, never likely to happen.

Wonder why Aldi won't allow court cases?

That's great news well done I'm sure someone on this thread suggested complaining to Aldi themselves oh that's right IT WAS ME YIPPEE!!!!!

I feel proud that I've actually had a hand in helping someone:T

One day when I'm all grown up i might be able to offer more in depth advice with court procedures etc, who knows

    Truly a great feeling.

    You're doing just great.

When I started, I used to restrict myself to the mundane 'Groundhog Day' stuff, like read the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, send a basic 'soft appeal/challenge' to the PPC. Then Coupon-mad started 'thanking' my posts. What a fillip and an implied 'endorsement' of what I was saying.

Then, 19,500+ posts later (and more on PePiPoo), there's no looking back. Stick with us, these parasites deserve more than just 9 or 10 regulars shoving it to them. As I said, you're doing just great. :)
