How do I get a little picture/icon with my name? Sorry to be dim.:think: :doh:

Okay, so I've chosen my avatar.

I've gone to the resizing website and entered 80 into the little boxes....

But how does it know what/where my picture is?:think:

And how do I tell it?:think: :think:

Please, treat me as if I were a two year old (or a peanut), and speak slowly, clearly and veeery patiently.:wall:

Hi

I'm gonna rewrite those instructions in the next week or so to make them much clearer.

For now, if you tell me the location of the pic you like, I'll resize it for you -

right-click the image you like, select properties and copy the location url

You have to upload your picture onto the internet. Everybody usually get space from thier internet service provider, using an FTP client simply copy the file to your webspace and this will then give you an accessable location eg a URL to enter into your profile under the avatar section.


Simple as that!!

If you're confused by FTP talk, then simply e-mail (Look in my profile) your picture and I will PM you a temporary URL you can use until you've got FTP'ing sussed.

Do you have an enlightening (baby-talk) link? everything I have tried to read so far has confused me even more.
