Recommendation for shutters / blinds

I have had some quotes back for made to measure blinds and they are coming in 3,000 to 5,000. These were from joiners / carpenters and a DIY option.

Even places like Hilarys seem to be over £3000 for 5 windows, which really surprised me.

I can't really afford that for something that will something that will remain in the house once we go.

Any places I can buy "off the peg" at a reasonable price in wood or mdf?

Two of our windows are made of three sections each

Another vote for blinds 2go, Loads of choice, made to measure. Have them in all 4 bedrooms and slatted blinds in the bathroom- really pleased with them

Another vote for blinds2go - we used them 4 years ago, and the blinds still look good. And because they're made to measure they could cope with our strange shaped windows.

You have to do the measuring yourself, so make sure you do it Very. Carefully. Indeed. Then check it. Then check it again.
