Would like to increase my storage space

I’ve lived in Fulton for 4 years now. When we moved here the house was large enough for me and my four daughters. But children grow, which means now I need a lot more storage space. My friend said she bought a bridge wardrobe for her son’s room and it solved her storage problems. Then she told me the cost and I realized how much of a big investment it is. But I’m willing to spend money on something that will fix this problem. So can anyone help me out with some good stores that make great quality furniture?

If you don't have much money then Ikea is always the place to go. In years of renovation they do stand out by themselves in terms of value for money and choice when you're on a budget. In the past, if I didn't know what solution I needed then I would go through all of their room sets and see what they use. They make those sets with great creativity.
Nice surname (I have a different spelling but it's where the Doozer nickname comes from)

We bought ours from John Lewis, looked at fitted but in the end went for their flatpack range, very good quality, made in Italy and reasonable cost.0

Have you considered other options like divan beds with storage underneath?
Kids grow in and out of stuff really quickly and my 2 children now need less storage than when they were little children/teens.
I have recently looked at my home with completely fresh eyes and have added shelves and things in various cupboards which has changed my storage capacity enormously without huge cost.0 -

I always wondered thatNo prizes for guessing about mine.
I second Ikea...look carefully at what they do though and you could probably replicate that by looking on Facebook Marketplace or ebay.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Hey Sofie,
I am a mother of two grown daughters and I can completely understand your plight. I went through the same outgrowing phase and had a great difficulty getting my girls adjusted to their rooms.
Finally, an office colleague suggested getting fitted beds and wardrobes for my girls' bedrooms.,Why don't you search on Google. You will definitely get some good options over there. You can even compare the prices and read some reviews. There are also are many companies who provide free consultancy so there's no harm trying them.:)0 -

I always think "up" - there is a lot of vertical height unused in houses. Without the expense of fitted shelves, cupboards, etc., I'd first of all look at whether your current storage goes up to or close to the ceiling.
Having just retired, I'd also say downshifting and reducing is very liberating. I haven't yet come across a situation where I needed or missed something I gave away/sold/Freecycled.(Nearly) dunroving0 -
I picked up a full set of German over bed wardrobes with bed, corner unit and double for a few hundred and a van for 1/2 day to move it.
I had some I got from a shop ex display cheap, the second hand stuff was about 20% of full price.
Good stuff even if moved a few times is easy to fix.
Nolte mobel., I think over bed has gone out of fashion so may be some second hand around.0
