  • Booo, hiss K9s! I hope you can get that rectified and refunded quickly.

Yesterday was a NSD and today I spent €13.37 at Carrefour for some salami, cheese, wraps, tomatoes, and a quiche. I got hit with a craving to make a wrap/sandwich like I used to eat back in NYC and haven't had in a few years. It was a combination of nostalgia and hunger shopping. :o:) The quiche is for tomorrow evening when I get home and don't feel like cooking. I've been feeling very bleah the last couple of days and I think I'm getting burnt out from working late nights on this project.

Fridge is still full and I have lots of fruit to last me until Friday or even longer. OH is back next Monday morning and I think I may do some cooking to have when he returns since he'll take a full day to recover from jet lag.

    TOTALS SO FAR:
    €249.85/ €300.00
    8/12 NSDs

  • I have raised a ticket and left an answer message with AF, but don't know if i will be deemed to be in the wrong here.
I also attempted to knock on my old address and there is no answer. I suffer from anxiety, and all this has nearly flipped me over today. Aswell, as having to be in work in an hour!

£31.64 my order was for, and mostly a whole order of food to try out because of current wheat intolerance issues. I could cry :(

This is so awful!! I'm crossing everything in the hope this will get resolved:(

  • Well that’s me back from my jaunt and haven’t kept track at all whilst I was away of either me or hubbies spends. So I think I’ll just make them holiday spends. Have updated my sig with spends from Sunday and today.

My new month starts tomorrow so will declare at £228.28 [/COLOR]even though I know we must have gone over, but not by too much.

Next month will be a challenge as it’s 5 weeks and I’m not sure how much to budget.

  • Spends of £6.24. Went out for lettuce and cucumber and came back with neither !!! Got

    25 limes
    21 tomatoes
    3 boxes of red grapes
    Pack of garlic
    Diced swede & carrot
    Carrots
    Large bag of kale
    Crispy potato slices
    Bananas
    2 broccoli

Very happy with that, mostly ys. Will make a kale & broccoli soup for freezer and have a homemade vegan pepperoni pizza for later. Have updated sig.
  • @Save Dosh where do you put it all? Do you have a freezer?

Another NSD for me. Have been swamped with work and the site I'm working on soft launches tomorrow.

I do have a freezer. The only thing that went in the freezer out of that lot, thus far, was the diced carrots & swede. The garlic went in the cupboard n the limes are on the counter top. The rest went in the fridge. I mostly buy fresh stuff, which I cook up and freeze. I haven't bought anything for nearly a week, so used up lots of cooked meals in the freezer, making room for when I get 'round to making the soup. Limes I use about 2-4 a day, so they won't last that long. I will probably make grape juice with half the grapes.
