Paying uk tax whilst based in Cyprus

Hi all,

I am a dependant and my partner is based in Cyprus. I have been offered a job overseas (not uk) working 3 weeks on 3 weeks off, I was wondering what the tax ramifications are being based in uk sovereign area in Cyprus? I will be getting paid into a UK account - am I classed as a UK resident? Anyone shed some light on this for me? Cheers

Depends on who the employer is, for instance I know that SSAFA employment outside the EU is tax free, although you will still pay NI regardless of where the money goes.  Hope that helps.
