New Kitchen to DIY kitchens or not?

Hello
I have read a
Lot of good reviews on here regarding DIY kitchens:
I am deciding between benchmarx and DIY at the moment but stuck.
I like the idea of diy but they don’t help to measure etc based on their units.
What are others ordering experience like with DIY and the overall product? We are looking at the Luca gloss units from them.
How do the quality of their units compare to the likes of benchmarx, Howdens and magnet?
I would have loved to see the diykitchens showroom but they are way too far away.
Any feedback would be much much appreciated,
Thanks

we went with DIY Kitchens and are very pleased. Although the showroom is some distance, we actually took a day out to visit and picked up their planning guide, cut out lots of shapes and played about with the design...I liked the fact that we could choose a custom colour for 10% extra on the doors (we have F&B worsted Luca matt)0

You can always send for sample doors for a small fee which is what I did when I installed my DIY-Kitchens kitchen 8 years ago.
Still as good as new so hopefully it will see me out!
If you have not spotted it yet, their units come in a choice of colours which you can match up to the door colour and there is no need to add end of run panels.
Their plinths, pelmets and cornices are also in the unit colours and at a very reasonable price. Don't forget the transparent waterproof "feet" that slot on the bottom of the plinths.
I also found the MFC panels in the same colour as the units for making shelves and other custom panel jobs useful.
You can probably guess that I found the range of units and fittings spoils you for choice so with careful planning you can get the kitchen that you want at a reasonable price.0
