Hello
I have one of the above on my sliding/tilting patio door.

It worked fine yesterday and today it is stuck in the locked position meaning that I can't open the door.
What can I do to try and rectify this issue.
Thanks
Eamon

Protect door & frame with thick cardboard, then cut the rod with a mini hacksaw?0

Have you tried wiggling the door back and forth while trying to undo the lock?
If it's a hardened pin, good luck with the hacksaw.0 -
I Had one of these on my patio door in my previous place, I'd have thought a bit of WD40 and tapping gently upwards with a hammer from underneath on the top bit would loosen it0

The catch on my door is upside down from the image and a work colleague suggested WD40 and allow the catch to lubricate itself. I don't have any but do have a tin of fine machine oil so thats what I've done. Its likely that the door has dropped slightly hence the jam. So I'll have to wait and see if that works and it may need a tap with hammer to break any friction issues.0
