Extra protection for felt on shed roof

Hi, i have just finished installing a new shed with felt roof. Honestly speaking i didn't lay it incorrect way (not using adhesive etc) and am now bit worried about rain getting in.
Short of starting again what is the next best option to prevent water ingress at felt Overlaps. Can I use one of those waterproofing paints or maybe get a fleshing tape to go over the joint..
Any product recommendations?

With my belt and braces approach to all jobs, I applied a bitumastic paint to cover the joints and 3 years later it appears to be working OK.
However, If you've overlapped the felt joints and used felt tacking pins then I don't see that adhesive is necessary - I've never used it and have re-felted both my son's sheds.0 -
Somebody recently highly recommended a "paint it on" stuff - they'd used it to seal their flat roof extension and it was so good they splashed it on their shed roof too.
It was about £20 for a big tin, so not horrendous....
I am 99.99% sure this is the stuff https://www.screwfix.com/p/thompsons-10-year-roof-seal-black-4ltr/73091 - although that says £29, other suppliers probably have it.
I googled it, you can get smaller tins too (e.g. 1 litre £9.50).0 -
The adhesive is a bonus, but not necessary; if the overlap is sufficient and it's properly tacked, you'll probably be fine. Worry about laying more felt if and when there is a problem.0
