    Perhaps the child (I don't see a gender and I have no desire to stalk the OP) but perhaps the OP home schools their/the children/child.

    Either way it isn't relevant.

    Of course it's relevant.

    OP might have made a mistake with the half term dates. The cost will be very different in half term compared with term time. So if OP is looking at the costs for the wrong dates then he would have a big shock when he looks at the week before.

    Definitely worth checking.

    Hi all, Looking to book a family holiday in November (4th-11th) from London. Details are as follows;

    - 2 adults one child (13)
    - Must be warm enough to swim outside
    - Things to do for teenager (waterpark, trips out etc.)
    - Prefer tourist areas
    - Fairly modest budget

    I am looking at canary islands, mainly Tenerife at the moment. This is mostly to do with the weather but also activites. Am i overlooking anywhere else? Any suggestions welcome.

    Thanks

    Looks like school age.
    ITS NOT EASY TO GET EVERYTHING WRONG ,I HAVE TO WORK HARD TO DO IT!

    We always go to Tenerife in November and the weather is as good as you are going to get for the distance travelled. There are varying amounts of cloud but it has always been warm. The only problem is that it is peak season in the Canaries, so may not be cheap. Siam and Loro Parks are worth a day out. I wouldn’t personally want to travel long haul for one week only, and the weather we had one year in Mexico wasn’t appreciably better than the Canaries.

    Jamaica on a modest budget?

    On the basis I spent 30 mins on Jamaican soil (which was 29 mins too long) when I was in that neck of the woods, I vote no to that idea

    I dont know where you went but 30 mins isn't really long enough to base a formed opinion on somewhere I am sorry you didn't enjoy it its a wonderful island with lots to offer in my opinion
