Hi
Following a really rubbish year which included me having a heart attack, a double heart bypass and 2 major surgeries my husband has decided to take a 6 month sabbatical from his job and take me to europe for an extended holiday.
I have been awarded middle rate care element and high rate mobility element of PIP and I wanted to ask, can I continue to claim whilst I am travelling or do I need to inform them I am going?
Many thanks

For PIP it's 13 weeks, the same as housing benefit. If you claim ESA it's 4 weeks, and the same if someone claims carers allowance for looking after you.trying_to_stay_afloat wrote: »Hi

If it's a long period of time then you'll need to tell DWP.
