I usually advise against getting a 'free' boiler. They'll be the cheapest cr*ppest rubbish boiler on the market, and last about 5 years if you are lucky.
Worcester Bosch are reliable.0 -
Don't think there are any boiler grants, apparently the funding ran out . .

Why do you want to replace the boiler? If its working - don't replace it. The old boilers are far more reliable than the new stuff0

If I understand correctly, you have a working boiler, but it lacks a set of instructions. So you would like a new boiler, but want someone else to pay for it? Or am I missing something?No free lunch, and no free laptop
