Fiat 500 USB port
My daughters USB port has stopped working, are these normally a straight replacement or do they have a fuse that’s blown ? Someone has said they don’t have a fuse and take power from the radio? The radio works so if this is right I’m imagining the port has broken does anybody have any other ideas, thanks very much

Is it the glove compartment one ? Needs glove compartment pulled out , YouTube guides show how. Connect new port
If it's the later unit with an aux port as well it's an easy swap out of complete unit. Again YouTube guide and spare off eBayEx forum ambassador

It may not be that simple, the USB slot can be used for other things than charging in some cases. With my Mazda I can play music from mine (connecting a phone if you don't want to use bluetooth or via USB stick) and the digital radio runs off it as well so you can use them via the centre console. I'd imagine that there are other things that can be connected as well.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
