PIP Review - Voluntarily

So, I'm due my PIP to be reviewed around september or towards end of next year. But with my current condition worsen and with medical evidence backing this up, And with a recent ESA medical assessment cancelled on the basis of worse condition and new evidence, Would it be a pure gamble I guess to contact PIP and ask for a review right now.
Opinions and advice would help?

I think it's very risky reporting worsening of conditions. Many people have done exactly this and gone onto lose everything they already have. Some have reported changes however and had higher awards but to risk it when you have 1 year to your review, is risky.paragon909 wrote: »So, I'm due my PIP to be reviewed around september or towards end of next year. Have you looked at the PIP descriptors to see where you can go those points for a higher award?
Your ESA award won't help your PIP review.0 -
It also wouldn't be a review, it will be a change of circumstances and you'll be sent another PIP2 form.0

I think I will just leave it tbh, Medical services sent me a ESA50 middle of April and wanted it back for May, Only for them on 6th of September they decided I didn't need an assessment after more information from my doctor even though he wrote an initial letter, I guess this one was more what he thought was wrong than me. Even though both letters cost £10 each. So can't complain. Just hope they keep me in the support group. I Know they can't find you fit for work without a face to face. So I know i've still i've some sort of award.
And I can't really be bothered going through the stress of more medical services or DWP.0 -
Wise decision. Why risk everything you already have, especially when you have 1 year till your review.paragon909 wrote: »I think I will just leave it tbh, Medical services sent me a ESA50 middle of April and wanted it back for May, Only for them on 6th of September they decided I didn't need an assessment after more information from my doctor even though he wrote an initial letter, I guess this one was more what he thought was wrong than me. No, they can't find you fit for work without a f2f but they can put you into the WRAG. Hopefully that won't happen. Good luck.0 -
Poppy 12345, I've sent MR because I was put in WRAG from Support. Can they find me FFW without F2F? If I'm found in the same group (WRAG), I properly stick with it.0

No, as stated in my previous post.tazwhoever wrote: »Poppy 12345, I've sent MR because I was put in WRAG from Support. Can they find me FFW without F2F? If I'm found in the same group (WRAG), I properly stick with it.0 -
It is a risk requesting a review because it can go either way. I have known people go from low rate mobility to enhanced rate both parts following a review as the result of reporting change of circumstances (so minimum award to maximum award) but can just as easily go the other way meaning that you have to go through MR and possibly appeal, all of which is highly stressful and during which time Benefit has been stopped.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

Pity they can't just review the change of circumstances and see if one is eligible for award increase rather than all or nothing. I use to be a gambler but, Not worth it.
How long does medical evidence last before needing updated or newer?0
