feedback!

hi there
Just started selling on Ebay ,a good experience so far !
Can anyone tell me how many follow up feedback comments a buyer can make and also if the buyer can change and delete their comments ?
Would check on ebay but prefer this board.
Many thanks

i believe that a buyer and a seller can each reply once to feedback received and follow up once to feedback left. hope this helps.

I think you can make one follow-up to a feedback left.
    No-one can change their feedback.
Feedback can only be removed if it contravenes ebay's feedback rules, or if both parties agree to withdraw. (The comment stays, the rating is removed)

Not sure how many they can make but the only way to withdraw feedback is to both mutually withdraw the feedback rating - comment remains though.

can anyone remember how many positive feedbacks wipe out 1 negative?

some numpty just left a unjustified neg. i can't be bothered to go down the mutual feedback withdrawal route cause their negative was justified (i don't use paypal, they didn't pay) and i don't want to retract my remarks.

You need 1000 positives to lose that neg. Hope you gave them a strike.

for sure fay, the strike prompted the neg

always knew he wasn't gonna pay. i'm at the point with ebay that i really don't care if i get a neg now. buyers can win the auction, choose not to pay because they don't see a payment method they want to use, and quite happily leave a neg.

a real 5 star system :rotfl:

is it definately 1000? i was on 3551 feedback with 1 negative before. so by the reckoning on the 1000 figure, shouldn't it be on the 3rd negative before the number drops below 100%?

Can't find any solid info but now that I think about it, it might be 2000.

It's 2000 positives to go back to 100% after a neg.
