Frost free fridge freezer or not

Although I haven't seen anybody else in this thread mention these noises, I have read about them online. My point was just give you my experience.
Our Hotpoint is exactly the same,sounds like gunfire now and again,phoned Hotpoint when we first got it and they said it was normal,still running:rotfl:0
