Learning to drive - theory test book

Not sure if this right forum to post this.
I'm learning to drive and would like to buy the theory test book. My question is, there are so many edition on ebay (2018, 2017, etc). I'm just wondering whether the content are the same regardless the edition? Went to check the official DSA book website and the book was published in 2016?
I'm thinking why I need to spend £14.99 when I can get an older version for half a price if the content are the same.

There is an app I used for my theory, the Official DVSA driving theory one, which has lots of revision notes, practice questions and the HC included. I paid around a fiver for that (and passed first time).They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.
