Selling my investments and keeping them as cash

I wish I'd done it now!
Oh, well. You've only made or lost money at the moment you sell but seeing the gains I've accumulated over 3 years get wiped out in a few months is not nice.0 -

If you go all cash then you are only protected up to a certain limit (£85k ?) if the provider goes bust. If you are invested then, at least in theory, your investments are held by a nominee and ring-fenced if the provider goes bust.0

1) Jump out the window of the nearest tall building
2) Be miserable until markets recover
3) Forget about it; its only money
