It is an issue with a refunded/cancelled purchase that the feedback cannot be left in the same way as a successful sale, it's no secret it is just bad programming.
As suggested above, the 'options' you gave are not ones that many sellers would accept.
recently, in my point of view. I used ebay when it first came out in uk. So am a very old user. So a few years is still recent to me. lol.
I don't understand why you mean using argos click and collect is not an acceptable solution to the seller? The listing had the option to use argos click and collect, so i asked her if i could use that. She refused.
She did not want to sell to me flat out. It was a cheap item few pounds, nothing major. So not fussed over it, just upset that ebay would be doing this.
and i don't think it's a glitch, i believe it's ebay protecting their sellers.0 -

Your understanding of click and collect is wrong. Seller's can't opt to use it after a sale, they can either enable it on all their listings or can set their account to block it, my business account does not offer click and collect at all as too many buyers failed to turn up at Argos to collect their items. Only a buyer can choose to use click and collect, and only then at the point of payment when they are asked to choose whether they want item sent to their address or to Argos, and only then if seller allows it on their account.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The time to select Argos click and collect was DURING purchase and BEFORE payment. You may have been using Ebay a for a long time (haven't we all) but you clearly don't know how it works - by it I mean seller protection and click and collect.0 -
Have you heard of editing the post that you're quoting to just leave the relevant part, rather than including the whole thing?Rainbowgirl84 wrote: »Have you heard of the pot/kettle saying?Philip0
