    Congratulations Rosyred.
  • I never found other posts boring, and have read along every day although I didn't post myself.

It's just that sometimes I used to read over my posts before submitting, and sometimes used to think, who the h*ll will want to read this!!

When I read other posts I imagine the person driving to work, or going to the supermarket and often wonder what they look like, or how they sound. Barmy? Definitely!!
  • Congrats on the Anniversary, RosyRed - that's a great achievement in this day and age :j! I only made it to 17 with exHub - but been with ['OH' for 28yrs ;)! Our secret is 'separate homes' for each to retreat to when needed :rotfl:.

Good Luck with DSis, Mrs SaladDodger - it's very kind of you to 'put her up' and I hope she soon understands that she should 'try harder' to be appreciative :).

Have you tried Freecycle/Freegle (or any other similar sites) for a Lawn Mower, taff? We often see them on our local ones :j. The 'Cream Tea' sounds delicious - and EXACTLY what's needed after a shopping session ;)!

ScarlettRibbons - I also have a 'visual' of people on here ................. but JackieO on her 'motorised pencil' really does NOT help matters :rotfl:.

Thinking about 'Mrs LameWolf/Mr Wolf' and the 'TA's' - hope and pray that all goes well for both families.

I started posting as a newbie here in the Spring and then life and gardening got in the way, but I read along every day and feel that I "know" so many who post. I rejoice in the good news and commiserate and send hugs and spoons to those who are having a difficult time.

OH and I arrived home this afternoon from two weeks holiday in our touring caravan, one week spent in West Dorset (where we lived for 30 years) and last week near to Cheddar in Somerset. We caught up with some dear friends and visited many beautiful "old haunts", but it is nice to be back home, dear dog has taken herself upstairs and will be found stretched out on the bed:D

We shared a beef curry from the Chinese take away, I have had a bit of a cold and blocked sinuses and really fancied something spicy, have a very ripe nectarine each to eat, over the sink will be the best place:rotfl:
