Anyone experience of heatstore electric AGA ?

Hi, just moved into very old cottage in need of total renovation. Need new boiler, heating system and cooker. Am torn between traditional heatstore AGA electric (no gas and oil too expensive) or conventional range Lacanche cooker. Does anyone have any experience of either cooker please, would love to hear about running costs, your experience of reliability good and bad points. Thanks very much for any info.
