Hi all, I want to buy a Wire, Pipe & Stud Detector.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good all rounder.

Have a look at QVC - they had one on their DIY prog this morning - about £50.
No idea if they're any good though!0 -
£50 ...ouch! You really don't need to spend that much. You can pick up one made by Draper for £16 in Tesco (reduced by £4).
I use a draper one that detects metal or voltage (what's wrong with tapping with your finger for studs?!). Pretty much all thats inside them is a solenoid (wire coil on a magnet), battery, and LED light in a plastic case - it works on basic physics principles of electromagnetism

STANLEY TOOLS INTELLISENSOR PRO 0-77-200 NEW DETECTOR
