    Hi there

We are getting married this year and trying to keep to under £1000. My dress was £99 in a sample sale and we are hiring a suit for OH as he's unlikely to ever wear a suit again.

Flowers are silk and cost £67 for a bouquet, 3 corsages and 10 buttonholes - I got them from ebay and they are actually much better than I anticpated. PM me if you want the seller's ID.

Registry Office is costing £163.50. It's slightly more than our local office but this one is in an old building, the room is very ornate with carved wooden chairs, a beautiful carved staircase and stained glass windows.

Invitations were £19.95; I bought handmade cards (sale reduced from £19.95 to £3.50) and customised them to make them personal. Printed my own inserts on PC.

We're not having "fancy" cars but I'm looking to hire a sports car for 3 days 9 but this depends on whether I can bear to part with the money or not :rotfl: )

No cake as neither of us likes it.

Traditional chinese wedding banquet for 15 people - Approx £375

Rings - Not chosen yet, but only one for me as OH doesn't wear or like jewellery.

Photos - Friend who is semi professional is doing them free.

Favours - I'm making them myself; fimo models of each of the guests which will also be "placecards" About £35 for fimo.
I have the mind of a criminal genius. I keep it in the freezer next to Mother....

How much fun would that be?! Fimo models?! That'd make my day!

I know its a bit of a 'done thing' nowadays... but you could always pop a few disposable cameras on the tables for an 'unofficial' wedding album of pics that guest have taken?

    ~ditzy~ x
    :pLove hugs and glitterbugs :p
