Mitsubishi recall already paid myself
4 Weeks ago my hand break completely failed and I had it fixed at a local very reputable garage.
Yesterday I received a recall notice from Mitsubishi for this exact fault. So today I rang them to ask if I can be reimbursed but they want a copy of the receipt from a VAT registered garage, I have the receipt but contacted garage and they ARENT VAT registered!!
Is there any way I can still fight to get the costs of the repairs reimbursed.
(Last year I took the car to the actual Mitsubishi dealership cause I was concerned about handbrake, they just tightened it and sent me on my way - hence why I didn't bother returning this time)

Send in what you have. Can't be that good a garage if they're not VAT registered as it is a requirement to register if your turnover is £85,000 a year or more. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
