What address did you use on Trust Online?
You need to use the address it was served to0 -
Thank you everyone for your help.
So it was a parking charge which for some reason got sent to my old address.
Because of this I had no notification of the charge, no request for payment, no notification of the court hearing or the judgement and only found out through chance by running a credit report.
I can dispute the judgement and pay the fee (£255!!!!) but I am struggling with my wording, I don't really know how to go about these things I've never so much as missed a gas bill payment0 -
They send parking fines to the address held by the DVLA where you car is registered.
So if that wasn’t changed then that is also illegal and could get you in more trouble.
Paying the fee doesn’t mean it will get set aside so you could end up paying it anyway and the additional set-aside fee0 -

True (I'm trying to find out when I changed my address)
I had a similar charge with a different parking company the week I moved house and they found me through the electoral register so these people have made no effort to find me0 -
They only need to use the last address you gave. They'll assume it was correct or you would have changed it.0

I have just checked and I updated my address with the DVLA 5 months before this parking charge. Surely that is evidence enough to say I am in the right?0 -
It’s not their job to chase you
At this point I would say post on the parking fines forum on this board as they have people there more specialised with these CCJ’s0
