Hi


I have posted the below in the gaming section but not had a response so wondering if its more appropriate in this section.


What would cause a game to have a completely black screen in the back ground including the pool table where I cant see the pockets but can only see the balls and cue?


using a laptop windows 10. nothing has changed. problem just suddenly occurred.


It works fine on my mobile (lumia) and Samsung galaxy tablet hence its not an issue with the game?

Does any one play Real Pool 3D (by Feamber)?


I've been playing it for a while (pool and snooker) and its great.


However its now not working properly. The game loads fine but you cant see the table as the table/background is completely black. I can see the balls/cue and everything else but not the table so cant see the pockets.


It was working fine till 2 days ago. I'm playing on laptop win 10.
Its fine on my mob nokia lumia 930 so not a problem with the game I assume?


Ive emailed the developers but not had a response.


Just wondering if any one else plays it here.


Anyone recommend something similar? all the other pool games are rubbish. "

would guess that your laptop graphics card is not compatible, and may even lack memory?

Have you gone to your graphics cards manufacturers website and checked for new drivers?

tell us a bit more about your system, click Start, type CMD and select command prompt. in the black box type systeminfo. copy all the stuff from there and paste it into a new post BUT remove the registered owner info

I dont think its a memory issue. I have already updated the intel and Nvidia graphics driver, and uninstalled and re installed the game and reset the app in settings but nothing has worked.


Still a black back ground screen when playing pool/snooker. It loads fine and all screens are fine except when it displays the table to play the game then everything is black except pool cue/balls/scores etc.


what else can I do or check?

Think your problem is similar to 'Richard' above

It could be .net, but they are generally very stable and compatible, but still some specific versions once were needed for particular products.

Hope you have not bought into the product. Think you have to look for something else since problems seems to have been going on for 9 months

you could freeze the current state of your pc with something like Toolwiz Time Freeze or reboot-restore-rx-freeware or RollBack Rx Home, and try a new piece of software like http://vponline.celeris.com/vp4offprod if you do not want to allow things to write stuff to your pc or try the product multiple times. Thin you can install different versions of .net without rebooting?
