Tomorrow is the day when I will be in within my 40 or 50 days when I can switch without penalty for gas and electricity.
So this is what I am going to do. Have found one that I think I want to go for, however I have a feeling I will owe my current company about £100.
I just wondered if I will be given a choice to as to how to pay this or will they just take a lump sum out of my bank account to cover it?
I would prefer to put it on a credit card if possible.

If you have a direct debit set up they will take it that way, it will be on the final bill when they will take it. If you do not have a DD then you will get a bill with details of how you can pay, they may or may not accept credit card payments.0

Are you able to pay a lump sum of what you owe ?
Don't forget your new supplier will take its 1st DD almost straightaway.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -

I think I can go on to nPower's website and they give me an option of paying a lump sum. Maybe I should do that (hopefully on a credit card) before I attempt to switch and then they can work out the balance on a final bill?Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
