Free Multiple Email Account Checker

Options
Hi all,

I am looking for a free on-line or stand-alone tool application that will enable me check and send my emails from different email providers at one time with out the need to sign in directly in to the sites.

I have a few accounts with AOL, Hotmail and Gmail and will like a tool that can enable me check all these accounts at one place and also send email as well with out the need to sign on to the accounts directly. Epromter is not my taste. Want somthing else, if possible.

I know there are a few out there, I've done a google search and came up with a few but I want to use one that has been tried and tested by some one here. It's better than just picking any one from google as some may just be rubbish indeed.

Thanks all as I awaite your responces.

Keep it Real and Techy!! cool-smiley-030.gif

  • You could try POP peeper

Especially handy if you have multiple hotmail addresses and gmail accounts

Accounts can be linked to a specific colour

relatively simple to configure and polling time can be controlled

Best of all free, with no bugs I have come across

    I agree, PopPeeper is fantastic.
 Can anyone explain to me how to put a signature here?

You probably didn't notice but OP has expressed his/her displeasure - "Epromter is not my taste."

Try the last free version of MailWasher (MW) that does multiple accounts (download v2beta28 from here). Works on all my email accounts/ISPs but sadly not on Gmail (unless it's the latest free MW, but this supports one email account only) - this shouldn't be a problem if you don't use the latter. Disable the bounce feature though as it's just not worth using it (see below). G

Note: Do not bounce emails in MW for any reason. The simple rationale is that the email addressess you're bouncing them to either do not exist, or ends up in an innocent person's mailbox. Bouncing creates other unnecessary problems too - more info at What is Wrong With Bouncing Spam & 2 bounce or not 2 bounce?. Simply delete messages/spam you do not want.

If the accounts support POP3 or (preferably) IMAP, then use a standard mail client like Mozilla Thunderbird

Have yet to find a web-based equivalent of Thunderbird, which would be fantastic...
