Sports Direct Refund- Never received product

hello i'm new but i'd like some advice with an issue

2 weeks ago i ordered a product from sports direct (JJB) and was told it would be delivered in 5-7 days (bought online via their website)

come last Thursday i got a text/email saying it's out for delivery..then that evening i get an email update saying "delivery attempt made please allow 24h next day"

this happened on Friday...Saturday..Monday and today..today the update said "final attempt made'

btw NO-ONE has come to my door or left a card for this "attempted" delivery

so i'm wondering can i get paypa lto refund my payment? as its close to the 14 days they give to cancel your order for a refund

but looking into JJB/hermes i found a LOT of negative/dipleased customers

so if i can get my money back before JJB says "i'm to late" i'm gonna do it..but i've never had to do a payback via paypal before

so some advice would help thanks!

    Have you put the tracking number into hermes and spoken to them?

    yes I messaged them today they told me "there was a query with my address"

    and said i SHOULD expect an email from JJB regarding a refund

  • Get on to JJB. They're responsible for fixing this. You might want to double check you gave them the correct address and that their system understands it (mine frequently gets mangled by online systems).
  • how would i "get onto JJB" all they have is a customer support form (urgh) i left a message yesterday saying if i didn't get my parcel today i would be seeking a refund..but i just got a standard "your parcel is with blahblahblah heres the tracking number'

    also i checked the email i got confirming my order with JJB and my correct address is listed

    Message them again and ask them exactly what the query was
  • from what i've looked up its often an issue with the address (which is BS) but i'll message them tommorow

    on a side note i've sent two messages to JJB customer services but heard no reply

    DITTO on Hermes and the email JJB should send...it's been a day so..hmmmm
  • You have 180 days from the order date to open a case on Paypal for INR (item not received). You will win the case unless the tracking shows as being delivered.

    If you open the case, be sure to adhere to Paypal's very strict timeline and escalate as soon as you can. Under no circumstances close a case after it's been opened.
  • so update been messaging JJB no reply back (surprise surprise) received NO emails from JJB about a refund/my order being sent back (its been 3 days now)

    also no messages from Hermes AND theres no way i can "track" my order on JJB since i dont have an account so it shows "no orders" when i made an account to see if i could track it there

    i'm going to give it till monday to get a reply if not i'll message Hermes and ask HOW LONG it takes to send an item back..and go from there

    You cannot retrospectively make an online account with them and expect to see orders placed as a guest.

    You have the carrier tracking, just use the carrier website.
