Hi all
I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm presuming it's going to be something fairly simple for someone who knows what they're doing :-)
My settings have always been that when I click on a link in my current window, it opens the link in a new window (for example, when doing competitions or on the Grabbit pages). However, all of a sudden, the links are opening in my current window? Can anyone advise me how to change this please? I've clicked on the little "spanner" icon on the toolbar but the section "Open searches in" has "current window" and it's greyed out so there's no option to change it?
TIA.

Is this in a web browser? Which one?0

Is it just on MSE that this happens, and not other websites?
Using MSE, when clicking a link it opens in current window and you have to backspace to return to first window.
The best way to click on an MSE link is to drag the link into a new tab.
Using Google Chrome browser.0 -
Blimey that's been happening for a while now. Just press Ctrl whilst clicking on the link.0

I find that very annoying about this forum, because I'm always forgetting and closing a link, only to find it's closed the forum, and I've got to open it up again.
Much better if the default was to open links in a new tab.0 -
I right click and choose open in new tab0

If your mouse has a scroll wheel, just click with the scroll wheel.0
