I'll move your thread to the 'Travel, Trips & Holidays' board.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. BA, Jet2 & EasyJet all fly from Sunderland North to Heathrow, Gatwick & Stansted respectively. BMI fly from Sunderland South to Heathrow.

Depending on when you want to go it could be cheaper by train. Not to mention quicker, less hassle and you arrive in the centre(ish) of the smoke.

No idea about hotels in Camden town.

  • It is quicker, with less changes, and probably cheaper to go by train - London Kings Cross station is in Camden.

For every point in Camden, another London borugh is nearer than the far side of Camden. Could you clarify where you want a hotel?
  • just as close to camden as poss?
have no idea as never been to london before

    Sunderland North?

    Sunderland South?

    Have I missed something?

I wondered that too? Didn't realise Sunderland had an airport ;)

Camden is 4.5 miles North-South, over a third of the distance from the Thames to the M25. There are surely loads of hotels in Camden.

Do you mean Camden Town rather than Camden?
