    Honestly, just buy a petrol these days. Diesels are becoming far too much hassle unless you go for an old one and the gov are currently in overdrive trying to kill them.

    Bought a 3 series petrol about 3 months ago, and haven't looked back.

    Utter hyperbole unless you're one of those people who believe what they read in their daily rag written by someone who can't even check the oil and you don't do your own research. The amount of disinformation about diesels is beyond belief.
