  • Can I recommend the Sumvision DVD HDMI Upscaler Black + DivX which you can get for £35.24 +P&P, but if you haven't used google checkout before, you can get it for £29.93 inc P&P

You say that you don't have HDMI, but at least you can futureproof yourself!

  • It gets better, if you have an external hard drive formatted in FAT32, you can use that too. Virtually a media centre without a PC. Also it is region free out of the box

I don't know .That will not be aproblem at the moment as I have a standard TV .

I do have one more question though .

If I were to use a memory card to play files off .
Is there a certain type that is better ? I have read that some people complain of jumpiness on card playback ...I can only assume that is down to a slow transfer rate .So i'm thinking a faster card may solve that ..
  • SD has a slightly faster transfer rate than MMC cards unless you can use MMC plus cards, which I am not sure it can do, ins which case SD would be the logical choice methinks

dawny, to be honest even if it hasn't at that price, it's quite reasonable.

I'll report back when I get mine, which should be Tuesday!
