Fitbit & iPhone SE?

I'm not sure this is the most appropriate forum, but here goes.

Given the various reports of poorly performing "fitness" bands/watches, and a flood of mostly Android compatible cheap items on eBay. Is there a more reliably performing fitness band to use with an iPhone SE, than a Fitbit? The Fitbit models are quite expensive, but several others seem to receive poor reviews...

It would be used mainly walking, to monitor sleep patterns and to warn on sitting around too much. The ability to accurately determine distance walked via an iPhone app would be good.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

I used a Fitbit Charge 2 with an iPhone SE and had no problems.

The iPhone comes with a basic app called Health which shows steps and distance, otherwise something like Strava wil plot your course on a map and give timings, distances, etc.

Thanks Chris, it was the new Fitbit Charge 3, due out at the end of the month, that I was considering.

There are plenty of 2nd hand Fitbits on eBay if you want to take a chance. They sell for roughly 50% of the new price.
