If You Work Government Wont Help With Energy Savings

Hi

I am sure I may get a little backlash from some on here regarding this, but it is extremely frustrating for me and how ever many who feel the same about this. Share your thoughts....

I have this morning attempted to arrange for cavity wall insulation under the government backed scheme. I have done everything else to my home and thought this could potentially help in time for the winter arrival.

Now, even on the Money Saving Expert site (not having a go at Money Saving Expert here - because its great) and across Energy company sites, it states you may not need to be on benefits to gain from this deal. Well, this is UTTER RUBBISH!!! You do.

Warning Rant Alert!
I have worked all my life, paid ALL my taxes & never claimed a single penny from the government and/or my immediate family. So, to be turned down on the point of you earn, you can afford to pay for it yourself is an utter P'take by the govern-mentals!!
Im sure there must be people who have looked into this and been refused on the same grounds. But truth be told, Yes, I earn a wage, dont claim benefits, but I certainly dont think of myself as better off. I watch other people around me that dont work and get new cars, dont move out of their home and want for nothing! I mean what the be..jesus has our country turned into.

I am only 37 but have seen a vast change in politics and how we look after certain individuals in today's society who cant be bothered to get off their lazy !!!!, work towards their bread & butter and pay into the country rather than take from it!

I think it is only fair... Yes "FAIR" in today's society to reward the people who are actually helping to pay into the government so we can payout to the takers.

After my rant, what I am getting at is that if the Government have targets to meet with reference to emissions and energy conservation, help all people to collectively reduce and then we may meet targets. This is a very simple and logical thought process. Instead of flatly refusing to assist people who are not claiming from the government. Cant a reduced rate for services be provided under the Government Scheme to people who dont initially qualify rather than a flat refusal which then leads to that person not doing anything about it. This would make a lot of sense. But maybe that is asking too much from the Parliamentals!!

At this rate, we will have no deal for Brexit and up the swanny paying an unemployed Britain!!!! Come on May... step UP & work for us or clear off for someone who is actually bothered about making our country GREAT again!!!!!

Sorry to the people who dont like this post, but there are people who will agree also.
