SSE Credit

I have just compared and switched my energy supplier.
I usually pay by monthly DD.
I note that I am in credit. How long will it take for my previous providers to pay me back? Will I need to contact them?
Thanks

No need to contact them but don't' spend your credit yet - it will take them some weeks (6?) to do so. Don't cancel your DD.

Don't forget that your new supplier will set up and take their first payment (and possibly their second) before you get your old suppliers credit.
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
