Oven help

Hello ,
I am having an issue with my Baumatic oven , specifically the extractor /cooking fan . Once I use the oven and finish up the extractor fan stays on for about 15 minutes even though the oven is turned off ? Does anyone have any ideas what it stays on for this amount of time ? Could there be a fault

The oven fan will stay on to help cool the oven! Its quite normal.

My hotpoint does that - not timed it but 15 mins sounds about right

Open the oven door and let the heat in the kitchen, its what I do

It's perfectly normal.

It sounds as if your friends are a little odd.

My Bosch oven does the same. It's normal.

There might be another fan besides the one in the oven that keeps the overall cabinet cooled. On my whirlpool oven that fan stayed on until the oven cooled down below 100 C.

Does anyone else’s fan go really loud ? Driving my wife crazy .. 15 minutes and blaring ?

Possibly fan blades catching due to bearing wear?

If it's the oven fan they are usually easy to get to, just take the cover off & see what it's hitting, if anything. If it's the cooling fan then it's probably well hidden.
