Looks like a pretty good buy to me, Tootings a pretty good area reallyIve had loads of mates live there, plenty facilities, good transport, falls into LB wansdworth doesnt it?
If you are committed to buying it- you certainly need to assess the interior so you know what to offer, but Id be inclined to go in at 200 and say thats your top money. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Just been to the property to have a look around. I have a feeling this is an ex-council flat (I work in social housing) and the owner must have just bought it under the right to buy. Also, estate agency "for sale" board as seen on the picture seems to have gone down.
Will have to wait till tomorrow.0 -
If it is ex council then they will be the freeholders, so it will be easy to confirm in this way. With this type of property there isn't the same drawback with having the council as freeholder as there is with a property in a block as the maintenance costs are only for the 2 flats in the building.
As an aside, ex local authority flats are usually granted a 125yr lease from the outset, whereas a 99yr lease length is more common for privately created leases. The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0
