Overpayment - Tax Credits to UC

Hi all,

I have just moved over to Universal Credit and was told my tax credit debt would move over the UC and would be taken from my monthly payments.

I have just been given a breakdown of my first payment and see no mention of deductions for overpayment.

Do I need to call them again to request this to be transferred?

If it cannot be transferred and I have to set up a repayment plan will it affect my credit report?

I don’t think it would impact credit rating unless you were failing to pay and the debt got passed to a debt collection agency.
