    Post a broken link.

Changing http to hxxp is often enough, but your imagination might be needed if not.

(A complaint will be sent to ICO regarding body warn video footage taken without GDPR compliant signage at site)
    Good stuff!

    Draft POPLA appeal:

Please remove the split infinitive, ''I'' is NEVER followed by a comma! You should just remove the entire intro, it's just not needed.

Nice pictures, I had a quick look and personally I would crop FIG8 on the left to just show the bins, not the P sign (that's their job to show, not yours...).

...and do NOT describe Fig 9: as:

''Operator’s Body Warn Video (BWV) footage of driver leaving vehicle.''

Call it 'Operator's video image of an unidentified male near the vehicle'.

Unless you are saying the images prove the random guy WAS the driver who parked? If not, your appeal just says he's a random person...

But I do like your POPLA appeal, it will send PPS skedaddling in the other direction!

  • Thanks Coupon-mad. I will amend what you suggested and any others that may be pointed out from others.

Does it matter if I appeal the 2 incidents on the same day? (Have 2 weeks to go). They will practically be the same with pictures changed for the relevant dates etc.

It is fine to appeal them on the same day.

  • Changes have been made.

Do you think it's worth adding "operator has not shown that the individual who it is pursuing is in fact the driver" Or is it good to send as is?

    Thanks

Yes it never hurts to add that one.

  • Hey everyone just an update

The appeals were sent to Popla shortly after the suggested changes were made, using the guide provided by the Parking Prankster.

No evidence pack or email was received so tracked the progress on Popla this past Sat and it was at the second stage, waiting for Operator's evidence. Then coincidently, Popla sends an email around the same time saying Operator have uploaded their evidence.

Operator states that there are no documents found and their statement is based on their own evidence. I am baffled by this as I double checked the PDF was uploaded and saw the bin icon next to the name of the appeal before confirming everything.

The operator has only provided evidence for one of the appeals...so far.

Is there a chance that there is some issue on Popla's side or the operator being misleading?
I was meticulous with the upload as I had read people having issues on other posts.

there was a similar one recently, I believe popla were contacted and the original uploaded file was emailed to them with a complaint about it going missing on their system, asking for a review and extension to the time limits etc
