poppy i do all the cooking , cleaning , hosue work ect as she can only walk around or stand for a very short period of time due to getting out of breath or being dizzy0

If she can cook with some assistance, such as using a perching stool then she woudn't score 8 points in this descriptor. There's 9 other descriptors to consider. All the more reasons to get some help when filling in those forms. Have a read of that guide that pmlindyloo posted.needhelp2018 wrote: »poppy i do all the cooking , cleaning , hosue work ect as she can only walk around or stand for a very short period of time due to getting out of breath or being dizzy0 -

Her benefits and your benefits are separate.
If she gets PIP you continue to get UC and she will continue to get UC. Because you live with your mother she will not be entitled to the Severe Disability premium in her ESA so there is no harm in you telling DWP that you are caring for her. If you do this you will get the carer element added to your UC (£156/month) and will not be expected to look for work. You do not need to claim Carers Allowance to get he UC carer element.
The only way in which you impact on your mothers benefits are that you are treated as a non dependant when calculating her entitlement to housing benefit and Council tax Reduction and assumed to be contributing something.
Does your mum own or rent the house. If she rents is she getting housing benefit? Has she claimed Council Tax Reduction?Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0 -

Your mum's ESA will stay the same and she will receive extra money (separately) if she is awarded PIP.
If the standard or daily living PIP is awarded then you can claim the Carer's element of UC which will mean that an extra £156.45 would be added to you UC if you had no other employment.
A PIP application can take months.
PS. If you do not wish to seek help with completion of the form then do have a look at this link to give you some guidance:

the house is rented from local housing .
full housing benefit and Council tax is £16 a month but it was £0 untill 4 or 5 months ago0 -
As you live with her then she shouldn't be claiming full housing benefit, because you're classed as a non dependent. There should be a deduction for you. Do the local council know you're living with her? If her PIP award is successful then there won't be excluded from the non dependent deductions.needhelp2018 wrote: »the house is rented from local housing .

Was the change to Council Tax when you moved in to live with your mum? It’s likely to be the amount you are expected to contribute (assuming the local authority were informed when you moved in).needhelp2018 wrote: »the house is rented from local housing .
