Honey has had her last night with us; she's due to be collected this evening. We shall miss her no end!
As we've no dog staying tonight, I shall resort to a valerian tablet this evening; I am heartily sick of lying awake til gone 03:30 every night. We'll see if that helps.
Need to get the bungalow spick and span tomorrow, as Bella Beagle will be coming for her meet'n'greet visit tomorrow evening, and we want to make a good impression on her mum. Other than that, it's just the usual humdrum round of cleaning, cooking, and Mr Wolf insisting on watching carp on the tv.
(((HUGS))) and posi-vibes to those who are poorly or caring for poorly loved ones.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Have you tried lavender on your pillow?
Feel a bit queasy today so having lots of tea and dry toast and maybe some soup tonight. Washing machine has been on and laundry tumble dried and the dishwasher is loaded ready for later so having a quiet day as the rest of the week looks like being busy with two visits to different dds and youngest might be coming home for the weekend.
hugs to all0 -
Hello people
((((HEALING HUGS)))) for all who need them.
Today started quite pleasantly here on Merseyside, but has been on/off with showers ever since - no drying possible on the line today. Fridays laundry has been dried on the airer and radiator racks, all now put away apart from one towel and one skirt that just need to 'finish off airing'.
Been to church this morning and our new 'circuit minister' gave his first sermon at our church - the young people outnumbered the older ones by 2:1 today, which is very unusual :j. Lovely friend gave me a lift back home afterwards to save me hanging around for the bus.
Prepped all the veg for tonight's meal when I got back - final quarter of a savoy cabbage (almost 3wks old ) with two stalks of celery sliced to bulk it out - some carrots (chunked) - baby pots quartered with skins on. Defrosted 2 pork steaks .......................... so all ready for cooking when we're ready for it :T.
Lovely visit from DGS1 (age17) a few moments ago - he has ADHD/ADD/ASD, so we always have some 'weird and whacky conversations' with him. He goes back to his 'Farm-based College Course' next week and he's really looking forward to it - he has a Gosling to look after and has missed it. I think he'll find it's grown a huge amount in the past 8wks! He arrived on a friend's Segway - but not very well balanced; at 6'3" he always looks like a 'giraffe-on-stilts' and his Dyspraxia doesn't help matters either !
Just about to go and make some GF Choc Chip Shortbread that I'd intended to make last night - be a lovely treat for suppertime!
'Sleep Fairy Blessings' for those who struggle to sleep throughout the night ................ that's something that I'm experiencing at the moment.

What a dreadfully atrocious weather we've had here! Stormy winds and driving rain, not nice at all. Not even that cold so I've had the door open inbetween the bouts of awful rain.
I've accomplished all I set out to do, apart from the stuff out of my control. I've got a class starting tomorrow and there's no register yet on our SharePoint so i've no idea who to expect - can't even find out who else is teaching on it or who the course leader is. Rubbish!
Still, the majority of my work got done. Then I had two chicken thighs with salad and potatoes and a glass of well earned wine. :j
