Trouble with Sims 2 loading on 2nd hard disk

I've managed to install a 2nd 20GB HD on my Pentium 4. The HD appears to be working fine.
The master disk is some 20GB and I felt that rather than replace the main HD I would use a 2nd HD that I had and run the two together.
However, when I try to install the SIMS 2 with add ons, it plays up. It accepts the SIMS 2 but falls over on the first expansion pack.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I can do to get around this?
Thanks.

I assume you mean that you installed Sims 2 to your secondary disk drive?
The expansion pack probably assumes that you accepted the default of installing to your primary drive which is why it won't work. There may be some workaround - try the Sims 2 forums - otherwise you may have to install the original disk to your primary drive.Charlie0 -
Yes I did exactly as you said.
One idea I had was to install the Sims2 on the primary drive then install the expansion packs to the secondary drive.
Alternitively, is there a way of making both drives behave as one C drive, ie combining the 2.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0
