Not sure if this is the right place but....
I have had a Currys Your Plan account for just over a year, I bought a new TV and paid it all off in Feb this year. The account is still open but nothing has been spent on it at all.
I have looked at their website but can see no way to close the account online, unless I am missing something.
I thought companies were not allowed to make it hard for people to close accounts etc anymore, or am I mistaken?
Any ideas apart from getting in touch with them how to close it?

do you need to close it?
it just hangs there ready in case you want to purchase something at a later date0 -
If I needed something, I would be able to use my emergency credit card that does not get used to purchase from elsewhere, and I want to reduce my available credit.0

I think you can do it by calling the Your Plan customer services - have you tried this?0

I’d just call them - if it takes 5 mins on the phone to cancel, I’d hardly call that ‘making it hard’.0
