You can but they'll only qualify for interest in the months that the DDs are taken, sorry and all that
    • No interest paid on balances over £5,000. To qualify, each calendar month simply pay at least £1,000 into your account, stay in credit (above £0) during the monthly billing period, and pay at least two different Direct Debits from your account. If in any month you don’t meet these criteria, you won’t earn any interest but you won’t be charged for having Vantage.

Why don't you pay your TV licence monthly, I do. That's one dd. My water bill is eight monthly payments, if you changed to that, at least it would cover eight months.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

Another easy option, depending on status, is to get a(nother) credit card and ensure that you spend at least a couple of quid on it each month.

Get a 0% credit card, put a few hundred (or more) on it and pay back the minimum. Should keep you going for a while

Its ok. I opened one of them post office monthly savers when Tesco stopped pulling DDs.

I can move it to this account.

Only trouble is, I can't find the online login details. Was it a postal account?

    EDIT: managed to get in!

No it wasn't.. But IIRC if you use the 'forgotten details' at the log in stage you have to phone their CS..pass their phone security and they then post a temporary PW out to you.
Good luck with that.. let us know if their CS has improved.
