Internet connection confusion

Hi - I'm on my lappy at the moment connecting wirelessly, OH has just tried to get on the desktop upstairs and it'd telling him he has limited or no connection - why would that be?

I assume the other PC is connected wirelessly and I assume it is a Windows PC? I assume you've tried a reboot?

Have you tried doing a "repair"? Right click on the tiny little icon in the bottom right corner that looks like a computer monitor and flashes on and off when you are using the net. Choose repair from the menu. This will take about 30-60 seconds to complete. My wireless adapter randomly loses the connection and gets in a twist, a repair normally fixes it.

Otherwise, has anything changed recently? Have you moved your wireless access point (the box that plugs into the phone line) or the PC?

Thanks guys - tried your suggestions but couldn't get it going despite re-boots, repairs etc. Switched on again this morning and everything is fine again! Bizarre!!
